At Julesburg Farms, everything begins with the land beneath our feet and the hands that care for
it. We’re Kevin and Karin Wheeler, and since 2020 we’ve been growing elderberries on our
family farm with one goal in mind: creating pure, trustworthy wellness products that come
straight from the source.

What started as a small planting quickly grew into a fullscale passion. By 2022, we expanded our
elderberry fields and committed ourselves to sustainable growing practices. We avoid chemicals
whenever possible, using them only when absolutely necessary during harvest to protect our
berries from the spotted wing drosophila — a pest that can damage ripe fruit. Our goal is always
to grow the cleanest, healthiest elderberries we can.

Every product we sell is touched by our hands. We harvest the berries ourselves. We process
them ourselves. We craft our elderberry syrup in small batches to ensure quality you can taste
and trust.

Our customers feel that difference. At the Kirksville Farmers Market, our elderberry syrup has
become a favorite — and the number of repeat customers tells us we’re doing something right.
